Upper Trinity Groundwater Conservation District — SEYMOUR AQUIFER PLANNING AREA (GMA 6) Joint Planning Group

The joint planning meeting will be compromised of the Groundwater Conservation Districts (GCDs) located wholly or partially within Groundwater Management Area 6 (GMA 6) as delineated by the Texas Water Development Board. GCDs located in GMA 6 are Clear Fork GCD, Gateway GCD, Mesquite GCD, Rolling Plains GCD, and Upper Trinity GCD.The meeting is open to the public.AGENDA1. Call to order 2. Roll Call/Introductions 3. Public Comment, please limit individual comments to five minutes each 4. Consider and Act - minutes from GMA 6 Meeting held on April 14, 2026 5. Consider and Act - appoint representatives from GMA 6 to the regional water planning groups within GMA 6 as needed. 6. Report from the Texas Water Development Board or their staff. 7. Report from Legislators and/or their staff. 8. Technical Consultant Report –The GMA 6 technical consultant may report on any technical matter related to joint planning that may be of interest to the GMA. The technical consultant may also report on legislative or statutory changes that may affect the joint planning process. 9. Discuss matters related to the Seymour Blaine GAM and update. 10. Discuss matters related to the Cross Timbers GAM. 11. After considering comments received, discuss and act to adopt by resolution the Desired Future Conditions for relevant aquifers within GMA 6. 12. Consider authorizing the GMA 6 Coordinator to submit the DFC packet, explanatory report, and other information as required by statute to the Texas Water Development Board and to make minor non-substantive editorial revisions as may be needed to same. 13.
