Monthly meeting of the Behavioral Health Committee. In 2021, the Oregon State Legislature passed House Bill 2086, establishing the Behavioral Health Committee of the Oregon Health Policy Board. The committee assists in establishing quality metrics for behavioral health services provided by coordinated care organizations, health care providers, counties and other government entities, and establishes incentives to improve the quality of behavioral health services.  As directed by House Bill 2086, the quality metrics and incentives are designed to:  Improve the integration of physical and behavioral health care. Improve timely access to behavioral health care. Ensure individuals are supported in the least restrictive environment that meets their behavioral health needs. Reduce hospitalizations. Reduce overdoses.  The Behavioral Health Committee prioritizes and leads work to advance health equity in Oregon's behavioral health system. The committee centers the voices of people with lived experience, community members impacted by health inequities and disparities, and people with behavioral health care needs.  Everyone is welcome to attend Behavioral Health Committee meetings.
