The Oregon Department of Agriculture (ODA) and Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) invite the public to provide oral and written comment on the proposed registration renewal for 46 Confined Animal Feeding Operations (CAFOs) to the Oregon CAFO National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) General Permit #01-2026, four in Baker County, three in Benton County, one in Columbia County, one in Jackson County, one in Linn County, eight in Malheur County, one in Marion County, two in Polk County, 13 in Tillamook County, two in Umatilla County, one in Wallowa County, two in Washington County, six in Yamhill County, and one in Linn County. A table with a summary of renewing operations will be posted on the website with this notice. 42 of the CAFOs have applied to renew to the permit with no changes to their Nutrient Management Plans (NMPs), and four have applied to renew with substantial changes to their NMPs.
