Knock Doors with Gena Felix for State Senate!

Come out to knock doors with Gena Felix for State Senate (District 8) as we work together to elect a working-class champion for Pawtucket. This is a community event, so make sure to bring your friends and neighbors! Never canvassed before? No problem. We'll provide a quick training and make sure you have a buddy to knock doors with. Helpful Tips: Wear comfortable shoes, and bring water and a fully charged phone. About Gena Felix: A Dominican-American, U.S. Army veteran who served as a sergeant (E-5), nurse, and working mother who has called Pawtucket home for more than 20 years. She graduated from Shea High School, worked her first job at McDonald's on Lonsdale Avenue, and has lived the struggles our neighbors face every day. Gena is a first-generation college graduate who earned her nursing degrees while working and raising a family, and is now advancing her education to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her path into healthcare started right here in Pawtucket, where she worked as a medical assistant at Blackstone Valley Community Health Center, serving many of the same families who call our city home. Gena is endorsed by the Working Families Party and Reclaim RI. She's running to give Pawtucket a voice that has been stolen by backroom appointments. We'll also be joined by WFP-champion and State House Representative Leonela Felix, as these twin sisters have intersecting districts!
