Join Common Cause New Mexico for our monthly **Democracy Action Hour**, a space for volunteers, supporters, and community members to get updates, take action, and help build a stronger democracy in New Mexico. Each month, we’ll share what’s happening in our democracy work, highlight ways to plug in, and connect people with concrete next steps. We’ll discuss key democracy priorities, including: - **Election Protection** and how to volunteer for the November election - **Legislative Pay**, a ballot measure to help make the New Mexico Legislature more accessible to working people - The **pocket veto amendment** and what it means for transparency and accountability - Opportunities to join local **Community Action Teams** and help build people power beyond Election Day Whether you are brand new to Common Cause or have been involved for years, this is a chance to learn what’s happening, meet others who care about democracy, and find a meaningful way to take action. **This is a nonpartisan event.
