Girls on the Run of Dayton Fall 5K

Each Girls on the Run season comes to an end with a celebratory 5K that gives program participants of all abilities a tangible sense of accomplishment and something to work towards throughout the entire season. Crossing the finish line instills confidence through completion and is a joyful moment program participants always remember far beyond their time at Girls on the Run! Girls on the Run of Dayton is hosting our Fall 2026 5K at Wright State University on November 14th! Doors will open at 11:30am with the 5K at 1pm. We are seeking volunteers (16+) to work Registration, Merchandise, and Inspiration Stations and to be running buddies. Our Inspiration Stations are face painting, shoe lace decorating, gratitude chain, poster making, happy hair, bling your bib, and tiara making. This is a fun way to get involved with the community, help get the girls ready to take on the 5K, and most of all support the next generation of women! Running buddies (18+, background checked, & female) are paired with a GOTR girl and help keep them safe and feeling empowered on their 5K journey. All volunteers 18+ will be background checked, which is covered by Girls on the Run of Dayton. To learn more about Girls on the Run of Dayton please head to https://www.gotrdayton.org/
