## PVAMU Voter Registration Drive with the Political Science Club Ready to help make sure Prairie View A&M students are registered and ready to vote? Join Powered by People and the PVAMU Political Science Club as we connect with students, register eligible voters, and help build a stronger culture of civic participation on campus. Whether you're an experienced volunteer or it's your first time, we'd love to have you with us. **To register voters at this event, you MUST be a certified Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrar (VDVR) in at least WALLER COUNTY.** If you're also certified in surrounding counties, even better! **NON-VDR VOLUNTEERS WELCOME TO ASSIST WITH REGISTRATION CHECKS** ## Schedule **11:30 AM - 12:00 PM** | Setup & Volunteer Huddle **12:00 PM - 2:00 PM** | Register voters & engage students **2:00 PM - 2:30 PM** | Takedown & Debrief ## How to Prepare **STEP 1:** If this is your first time registering voters with Powered by People, please sign up below for a quick Zoom training. https://mobilize.us/s/BfCqlk **STEP 2:** Before your shift, download the Reach app and review the Guide below. We will be using this app in tandem with registering voters! This step is **CRUCIAL** in helping us stay connected with the voters we meet. Please complete Step 2 before the event. https://app.reach.vote/login Once in Reach, follow the directions below to join our campaign. 1. On the Home Screen, click the name of the group you're currently in. 2. At the bottom of the pop-up window, select **Browse Campaign Directory**. 3. Search for **Powered by People**. 4. Click the blue **Join** button. ## Meeting Location **Prairie View A&M University** **Exact location TBD.** The host will reach out to all registered volunteers before the event with the exact meeting location and any additional details.
