How to Help Your Immigrant Neighbors

We all know people in our communities who are living each day in confusion and fear. People providing needed services, contributing to our communities, and being good neighbors. In this session you will hear about practical ways you can help. Voces de la Frontera and the Community Immigration Law Center will provide information on challenges and needs immigrant families are experiencing, including a range of ways to help, from simply being a helpful neighbor to becoming an active volunteer. You will also hear from someone who volunteers with both Team Gold and Voces. He will provide additional insight into what it is like to volunteer with Voces. There will be time for Q & A, followed by time to socialize. Team Gold is a longtime supporter of Lussier Community Education Center. We encourage attendees to bring donations for their food pantry.
