Northeast Madison Neighborhood Canvasses

Join NED to canvass the Northeast Madison neighborhoods in advance of the November elections. The Governor’s race is going to be the big focus for us this year. The Democratic candidate will need all our grassroots power to turn out every possible vote. As we’ve seen, statewide races in November are tough to win. It will be extremely important for us to hold the Governor’s seat. If the legislature remains in Republican hands, a Democratic governor can wield the veto pen to stop the tax breaks for the rich, stop the destructive use of public lands, and stop the erosion of our public services. A Democratic governor can lead the legislature to pass laws ensuring health care for all, well-funded public schools, and reduced taxes for working Wisconsinites. To win this seat, we’ll need to turn out every Democrat in our neighborhoods. As a grassroots neighborhood team, door-to-door canvassing is the most effective way we have to inform and motivate our neighbors to cast their ballots. The NED team is hosting canvassing training in advance of each shift to ensure all new canvassers feel well prepared. Our canvass will launch from 3720 Olbrich Ave, Madison. Please download the MiniVAN (from NPG VAN) mobile app and create an ActionID prior to your canvassing shift. MiniVAN training is included in the canvassing training.
