IA: Iowa City Voter Registration Canvass

**Join Food & Water Action Team Iowa City to register voters!** We’re canvassing Iowa City neighborhoods to learn how local residents feel about Iowa water quality, cancer rates, cuts to healthcare, SNAP, and the everyday struggles impacting our neighbors. Together, we will organize, bring new folks into our movement, and help ensure that Iowa City voters are registered and ready for election day. We will meet at Fairmeadows Park Shelter at 1pm for refreshments, a brief training on voter registration and how to have effective conversations at the door. Then we will pair up and hit the doors! We use the miniVAN phone app to track our conversations, so please bring a fully charged phone with the app installed, or let us know if you need a paper list. We will meet back up at Fairmeadows Park Shelter at 4pm for a short debrief and highlights. *No prior experience canvassing is needed!*
