Louisville Parade

Colorado was the first state in 1887 to celebrate Labor Day, and we proudly carry on that tradition by participating in the Louisville Labor Day Parade. Join BVEA/BVPA/BVCEA with our sister unions to celebrate the fight for workers rights. Unions brought you 40 hour week, weekends, child labor protections; and we'll continue the fight to protect ALL workers for our inalienable human rights. The parade is family friendly, everyone is encouraged to walk in support. Last year was our inaugural year walking and we would love to see a big crowd walking with us! Stand in solidarity and march with us in the parade, and join us at Community Park. Logistics Details: 9:30AM Mustering for the parade will happen at our designated spot (exact location posted later). The parade begins at 10AM. Parking will be scarce near the parade route, recommend parking at Community Park and walking to our muster spot (approx .5 miles). Or park near the end of the parade route. It takes a village and volunteers are needed.
