Poll Observer Training

Poll observers serve as our eyes and ears at polling locations across the state, helping to identify, report, and resolve barriers to voting in real-time. As an NY Dems poll observer, you’ll have the unique opportunity to monitor inside the polls, putting you in the best position to make a real, tangible impact this November! We take training and preparedness seriously to ensure our volunteers are effective and well-informed about their roles and responsibilities. Completing a mandatory 90-minute training session is required, regardless of any previous poll observation experience in New York or elsewhere.
