Who makes the decisions that shape our communities—and how can we influence them? Working Families Power hosts Monday Night School: How Power Works an interactive introduction to civics through a lens of organizing and power. This isn't a traditional government class. Together, we'll break down how government works at the state, county, and local levels, explore who holds power, how decisions are made, and how everyday people can organize to shape the policies that affect our lives. Whether you're new to organizing or looking to deepen your understanding, this session will give you practical knowledge you can use as an organizer, advocate, volunteer, or community leader. We'll cover: * How power works in our communities * The roles of federal, state, county, and local government * Who makes the decisions that affect our daily lives * How organizing transforms people power into political power * Ways to get involved with Working Families Power You'll leave with a clearer understanding of how change happens—and the tools to help make it happen.
