Windfall Trust AI Workshop

Please join us for Economic Scenarios for Transformative AI, a workshop in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, October 1 (10 a.m.–5 p.m., followed by a light reception), co-convened by the Economic Security Project, Windfall Trust, and the Roosevelt Institute. Windfall Trust has been convening leading economists, AI researchers, policymakers, and civil society leaders to develop and stress-test scenarios for how transformative AI could reshape the economy, and this one-day workshop brings that effort to Washington, gathering a senior group of policy thinkers to work through scenarios in focused breakout sessions and examine which policy responses hold up across multiple futures, where the critical gaps in institutional preparedness lie, and what realistic best-case outcomes look like for working people and communities, building a foundation for economic readiness centered on workers, democratic institutions, and shared prosperity.
