Want to get more involved in protecting voting rights in Georgia? Join our LEAD (Local Elections Advocates & Defenders) training on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 6:00 PM via Zoom and learn how you can play a direct role in holding local election officials accountable. LEAD volunteers monitor county Board of Elections meetings across Georgia, track decisions that impact voters, and help us stay informed about changes happening at the local level before they become statewide issues. No prior experience is required. We’ll walk you through what Board of Elections meetings look like, what kinds of issues to watch for, how to take notes and submit reports, and how this work connects to broader advocacy efforts across the state. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to stay engaged between elections, build knowledge about Georgia’s election system, and support year-round democracy work in their community.
