Thruway Banner Project

Come be a part of a statewide visibility event, voicing concerns about Democracy, the Economy, and Corruption in Government ahead of the mid-terms. Folks across the state will all be holding banners on bridges across the NYS Thruway on several days ahead of the elections, from Buffalo, past Albany and elsewhere. This location is in Rensselaer NY. We will have a bridge message to display on each side of the bridge. Folks are needed to minimally hold that in place. You can also bring your own signs or use one of ours. Bring noisemakers, bring a friend, your child, your dog - all are welcome. Lawnchairs are welcome but we must not block passersbys. If there are a lot of attendees, some can be at the traffic light where exit 7 comes onto Washington Ave from I-90. Park on side streets off Washington Ave. *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
