TCJ Action Affordability Pledge to Vote Canvass - Dallas/Fort Worth

Working people know better than anyone what rising costs mean. Our unions have always fought for better wages, good jobs, and stronger communities, but that work doesn't stop at the job site. It continues in our neighborhoods and at the ballot box. This Saturday, and every Saturday leading up to November, we're asking union members and labor allies to get out into the community and knock doors across Dallas-Fort Worth. We'll be talking with our neighbors about affordability, listening to what's impacting their families, and helping them make a plan to vote this fall. No canvassing experience is needed. We'll train everyone before we head out, go over talking points and safety, and pair new volunteers with experienced canvassers. You'll have real conversations with working people and help make sure they have the information and confidence to show up at the polls. This is nonpartisan work. We're not telling people who to vote for. We're making sure working people have a voice in the issues that affect their everyday lives. When labor shows up in our communities, we build stronger relationships, stronger participation, and a stronger movement.
