Team Iowa Orientation - Oct. 7-12 trip

Join Team Iowa for our orientation meeting for our Oct. 7th-12th trip! This is our final meeting prior to our trip. All volunteers must attend or watch the video afterward. This meeting will provide critical information for our upcoming trip and answer questions. Team Iowa is supporting State Auditor Ron Sand for Governor. Rob Sand is currently the only Democrat among all statewide elected officials. Historically, Iowa has been a Republican-leaning swing state. It witnessed a 20-year stretch of enthusiasm for Democratic presidential candidates (1992-2012), but since then has tilted significantly to the right. At present, Iowa’s entire congressional delegation is Republican, and Republicans have held the governor’s office for over a decade. Fighting against high costs and corruption, Rob’s candidacy presents a unique opportunity to bring much-needed change to Iowa. Common Power’s special approach to canvassing will be an asset to the Rob Sand for Iowa Campaign as we speak with Iowans about their concerns and encourage them to support Rob in November.
