SALEM - Legislative Days!

Come down to Salem to show Legislators that Oregonians deserve Universal Health Care! This is urgent and timely work so that our bill is introduced into the 2027 Legislative Session, gets a hearing and is prioritized! We have 2 roles: 1.) Drum Major- take a meeting with your legislator to discuss the upcoming Universal Health Bill, why it matters to you and possibly a personal story about how the current health care system has/is failing you. 2.) Support Crew- come hang out in Salem with us for the day, wear your HCAO shirt, soak up the energy and learn how to exercise your civic duties! (Note that you do not have to stay from 8 am to 5 pm! You can come for as little as an hour and meet with your representatives. Patrick and I will be present to support you from 8 am to 5 pm). Once you sign up for this event, Meg and/or Patrick will be in contact to learn more about which role you would like to play on this day. Would you like to attend a training before heading to Salem?
