About this event
**Dangerous nitrates linked to cancer have been found in Iowa’s drinking water, and we need your help to fight back.** We're bringing more people into our movement by having conversations and spreading awareness among our neighbors, igniting a spark that leads to taking action. _Join our weekly one-hour virtual training on having Conversations for Clean Water!_ You will learn how to have meaningful conversations with neighbors about the water crisis and next steps in the fight for clean water. This year, Food & Water Watch fought the Iowa legislature to restore our statewide water monitoring program and _sued the EPA_ to protect Iowa’s drinking water. Now, we’re talking to our neighbors statewide to understand how the crisis has been affecting everyday Iowans, and provide meaningful ways to fight back. Help build the movement to fight for what Iowans deserve. Together, we'll learn about what we can do to keep our water safe and send a clear message to elected officials: **stop putting Big Ag ahead of working families.** **No experience required; beginners welcome!**
