Voter Assistance General Election Poll Observer Training

Poll Observers serve as the campaign’s eyes and ears on Election Day providing critical, real-time information to the campaign about any issues arising at polling locations across the state. The campaign will assign poll observers to serve at a polling location based on the poll observer’s availability and willingness to travel. In New Hampshire, poll observers are not required to be New Hampshire voters or residents. In this training we will go over the basics NH Election Law, Frequently Asked Questions, and an overview of the reporting system. This training is for poll observers interested in volunteering for the NH primary election on September 8th! We will have additional trainings later in September and throughout October for those only available for the November 3rd General Election.
