Free, fair, safe, and accessible elections depend on people who are willing to stay grounded, prepared, and ready to act. Sojourners is inviting people of faith and conscience to learn about serving as Poll Chaplains and Peacekeepers during the 2026 election season. These virtual trainings are hosted through Faiths United to Save Democracy, our nonpartisan election protection partner. Poll Chaplains and Peacekeepers offer a calm, faithful, and nonpartisan presence at polling places. They help de-escalate potential conflict, support voters facing intimidation or confusion, and help ensure that every eligible voter can cast a ballot free from interference. Choose the session that works best for you: **Monday, July 13** **Monday, September 28** **Thursday, October 15** All sessions are held from **7–8:30 p.m. ET on Zoom**.
