Newport Bridge Brigade

Please join us in Newport at the on/off ramps to the Pell bridge on JT Connell Highway every Wednesday from 4-5:30. There is plenty of free parking right there at the Park ‘n Ride. We provide signs, banners and flags and many people bring their own signs. And we have fun! We play music and wave at people in the cars. It is a 4 way intersection with traffic lights so there is great visibility. We have built up a friendly community of volunteers and we will welcome you! We know we make a difference because so many people wave back and honk! And just to be seen gives courage and hope to the community.
