Service Saturday: Garden Glow-Up

Join the WFPeaches for __Service Saturday__ with __AgLanta__ at [__Whitehall Terrace Community Garden__](https://umifeeds.org/garden/) in Southwest Atlanta! We will be doing general garden maintenance including planting, picking up trash, mulching, composting, pruning, watering plants, weeding, and harvesting. ### 🤝 What is a Service Saturday? Service Saturdays are an opportunity to build community amongst our members and neighborhoods while giving back to our city! Community building is a key step toward creating *lasting social change*. ### 🌱 What is AgLanta? [AgLanta](https://aglanta.atlantaga.gov/) is a City of Atlanta initiative with a vision for 100% of Atlanta residents to live within half a mile of affordable fresh food. The Aglanta [Grows-A-Lot](https://aglanta.atlantaga.gov/aglanta-grows-a-lot) program encourages entrepreneurs, non-profits, and residents to apply for a 5-year renewable license to adopt a vacant, city-owned property to start a new urban garden or urban farm in Atlanta. The program was launched to ensure that 75% of Atlanta residents are within a half-mile of healthy food by 2020 and develop a resilient food system by 2025.
