About this event
Health care is broken! Medical debt is the number one cause of bankruptcy in the United States and we find this completely unacceptable. HCAO has been fighting for over 20 years to make universal health care a reality in Oregon and we finally believe we will be there by 2028. Come spend an hour with us to learn about why the current system is broken, why universal health care is the path forward and what we have already done legislatively to get there. There is a governance board drafting our plan right now, hear their current thoughts on: eligibility (everyone), how it is funded and what is covers.
