About this event
Join us every Tuesday morning for a postcard-writing party at Boston Bean, in Maynard from 9 - 11 am. Just drop in for all or for part of the time. Send hand-written postcards to voters in states that will play a key role in taking back Congress and in electing leaders who will fight back against the current authoritarian regime. Postcards educate voters, urge them to register to vote, and urge them to vote for specific candidates in special elections, primaries, and the November 2026 mid-term elections. Hand-written postcards have been proven in multiple studies to boost turnout enough to swing elections. Each packet of 15 postcards has everything you need, and costs $10 to cover stamps and cards for those who can afford it. It's more fun to write together, but if you can't stay, you can also stop by and pick up postcards to write at home. This a local Indivisible event! for more info you can check out or website indivisiblemayard.org or contact us at info@indivisiblemaynard.org A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
