About this event
Celebrate the 10th anniversary of Nevada Public Lands Day with a BANG! Join us and be part of the nation’s largest, single-day volunteer event dedicated to public lands. This 2-part function will take place at Gary Reese Freedom Park. Start the day by showing this park some love with our 8 AM - 10 AM volunteer cleanup. Then, once temperatures cool, we’re going BIG with a block party full of free food and live music from 4 PM - 8 PM. We have a killer lineup planned and there will be plenty of fun for everyone with games, prizes, and bounce houses! The best part is, you can leave your wallet at home because this event is completely FREE! We believe in having fun and making a monumental impact within our community. At the block party you’ll be able to hear directly from Tribal leaders and land conservation advocates during the press conference. You can even take a dance break and visit the tables to chat with the many organizations caring for and protecting the lands that belong to all of us. Register today to make the 10th annual celebration of our public lands a day to remember.
