Together, we will explore five foundational pillars of African-American culture: Resilience, Community, Family, Music, and Faith. Join ARC(Antiracist Conversations) for factual and engaging, 90-minute monthly conversations designed to provide real, actionable insights into African-American History and culture. What to Expect
Immerse yourself in ARC’s 90-minute, interactive sessions, designed for deep engagement. Each gathering weaves together historical and thematic exploration to bring African- American heritage to life. Thematic Path: The foundational pillars progress chronologically through five core pillars. Format: Monthly 90-minute gatherings, allowing ample time for comprehensive study and group dialogue. Goal: To deliver actionable insights and foster meaningful conversations about African-American resilience and culture. Session Themes, Breakdown, and Dates June 28, 2026—-Resilience: Tracing educational excellence and triumph over historical and systemic adversity.-- from "Pit Schools" to HBCUs. July 26, 2026—Community// Family: Exploring structures, generational lineage, and kinship bonds. Built on Resilience: “The Progress of African-American Families and Neighborhood Networks," Sunday, July 26, 2026— {12:00 pm-1:30 pm CDT} August 23, 2026—Music: The historical, spiritual, and expressive power of Black musical traditions. September 27, 2026—Faith: The historical and anchoring role of spirituality and the Black church. *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
