Volunteer at the Hospitality Table

This is an ongoing, not a one-time event. Signing up is initially a commitment of 2 hours. Make a difference in lives of impacted community members by joining a small group of volunteers at a hospitality table on the public sidewalk just outside of the Department of Homeland Security. We need volunteers Monday through Thursday from 9 am - 4 pm. We are deeply grateful for your help! HOW TO VOLUNTEER: 1) RSVP on this event. 2) Email southendindivisible@gmail.com to indicate what days and hours you can cover (FULL availability please) and we will follow up in under 72 hours. VETTING: To ensure the safety of all involved, vetting will be needed in many cases (if we do not know you already), consisting of a brief meeting with one of our organizers. Your RSVP is also your consent to being vetted. OUR MISSION: Build compassion, community & solidarity with our neighbors navigating an uncertain & often traumatic immigration system. WHAT WE DO: Provide hot coffee, water, snacks, resources & love to community members outside of DHS in Tukwila. YOUR SUPPORT MAKES THIS POSSIBLE: 100% powered by volunteers & community donations, your support of the Hospitality Table is greatly appreciated & makes a difference in countless lives.
