Dial in for Democracy: In-Person GOTV Phone Bank

Location: Old Town, Portland, Oregon (location shared after RSVP) Every vote in our community deserves a reminder, a clear answer, and a little encouragement. Join Imagine Black from home to call voters across Multnomah County ahead of the November 3 election. This is a nonpartisan phone bank. We won't be talking about candidates or ballot measures. Our job is simpler and just as powerful: making sure people have the facts they need to vote. We'll remind voters how Oregon's vote-by-mail works, walk through ranked-choice voting in Multnomah County, and encourage everyone to return their ballot by 8:00 PM on Election Day. Too many people sit out elections because no one reached out or they weren't sure how the process works. A single call can change that. No experience needed. We'll welcome you in-person, give you a quick training, and get you calling with support close by if questions come up. What you'll need: - A laptop you can use for the full shift - A web browser other than Google Chrome (Firefox, Safari, or Edge work best) - Headphones, provided (helpful but not required) When we organize, we win. Come call with us.
