About this event
The Society of St. Andrew will be gleaning (or collecting unsold food donations) at the end of the Catonsville Farmers' Market each Sunday, and donating the food to local feeding agencies including, Catonsville Emergency Assistance and Feed Hoco. Each Market Day allows produce that might otherwise go to waste to feed those in need. We are looking for volunteers to glean the Market each Sunday from 11:30-12pm June-November rain or shine. We are looking for individuals willing to commit for the season on min. 1 Sunday/month. We need 2 volunteers, each week, so you could do this with a friend or a partner, or double up with one of our current team members! You will need a vehicle (any size) in order to transport the produce from the Market to the Agency. Signing up, here for shifts. Please Cancel if you are unable to keep your shift, so that we can ensure our feeding agencies will receive these donations. Thank you so much!
