About this event
Join the Cabarrus County Senior Democrats in person in Concord for our monthly meeting every third Thursday (except July) from 6 to 7:30 pm. Doors open at 5:30 pm and Zoom begins at 6.
Zoom link and agenda is provided to registered guests upon sign up; shortly after you submit the sign up form, you will receive a Mobilize confirmation email. Please keep this. We have amazing speakers and our upcoming guests are county and statewide candidates including those running for school board, county commissioners, city council, jurists, state senate, state house, and United States Congress! You don't have to be a CCSD member to join our August Zoom to hear the congressional candidate for CD-6! Voting CCSD members must be registered Democrats age 50 and up, but we welcome all like- minded neighbors to listen, learn and connect. Our focus for the 2026 midterms is to build our ranks through outreach and sharing our institutional memory with others including people new to our area and younger activists because Experience plus Energy Equals Power! Never forget, we were the ones who marched for civil rights, integrated public schools, built Medicare, protested a war, formed unions, fought for women’s rights, protected our planet and so much more! We won’t allow this administration to erase all we have achieved! Let’s share our motto: We Have a Moral Authority That No One Else Can Claim! Annual contribution is $20, $5 of which goes to the NC Senior Democrats which makes you a state member, too. To join or to contribute any amount, [click here](https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/donation-form/become-a-member--2026) and make a single or recurring contribution.
