Take A Stand Tuesday protest at Six Forks & Millbrook Road

Please join us every Tuesday from 10:30-12:00 as we gather to demonstrate at the intersection of Six Forks and Millbrook Roads. This is a peaceful, positive event, intended to get people thinking about what’s going on in our country and motivate them to TAKE A STAND in protecting our democracy. We avoid any negative interactions with passers-by. Any rude gestures or angry words should be either ignored, or met with a smile and a wave and never returned in kind. PARKING: Park at 5500 Six Forks Rd. This is a bank building that is now closed, so we will be the only ones parking in that lot. We will be either on that corner (NE), or the NW corner. SIGNS: We would like to focus on positive signs. Some examples: “Silence is no longer an option”, “Courage is contagious!”, etc. Don't have a sign? We have plenty to share!
