Weekly Honk and Wave with the Beacon

A year ago, thousands of people met here in the pouring rain for the first No Kings March. Many of those people had never met before. They came from different neighborhoods, different backgrounds, and different walks of life. Yet they found themselves standing together on the same streets, united by a shared belief that democracy is worth showing up for. A year later, we're still here. What began as a march has become a community. Every week, neighbors gather for thirty minutes of conversation, connection, laughter, and solidarity. Some have been coming since the beginning. Others join us for the first time and discover they're among friends.
