About this event
Piloted in 2021, "WELLderness: An Outdoor Wellness Series" was developed to bring members of the community together (in person and online) to engage in activities that would have a positive impact on their physical and mental health and well-being. Throughout the year, people have the opportunity to participate in FREE events that center around fostering better connections to self and the environment. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ This grounding meditation practice focuses on nature as an ever-present support structure and connection with other human beings across space and time. Erika will guide you through visualizations and listening exercises to support the chakra system and body awareness, and end with Savasana to close the practice. Erika is a 200 hour yoga teacher with a background in agriculture, horticulture, mutual aid, K-12 and adult teaching focused on gardening, writing, internal connection, and designing social and physical spaces for community wellness.
