## Knock doors with Michael Mazzocco in District 4 Two hours, a partner, and a short walk. That is how this race gets won, one porch at a time. You do not need a script memorized or a political background. You need comfortable shoes and a willingness to listen. We handle the rest. ### Why it matters here District 4 is the only majority-renter district in Phoenix, and it is the first open council seat since 2013. The people most affected by what the city does next are the ones least likely to get a knock on the door. When you walk a route, you reach them. That is the whole game. ### Why Michael Michael Mazzocco has lived and worked in D4 for nearly 20 years. He built the Greater Phoenix Equality Chamber of Commerce from a volunteer board into a fully staffed organization, seven years on the board and four as president. He has raised millions for Valley nonprofits. He would be the first Native American to serve on the Phoenix City Council. He is running on affordable rents, homelessness solutions that actually work, an Office of Economic Empowerment to bring local businesses back into D4 storefronts, scaling the city's Community Safety Plan, which cut violent crime 40% along the I-17 and 27th Avenue corridor, to the rest of the district, and shade where the heat is worst. ### Why your door matters You know your neighborhood better than any consultant. Walk it with us and you are not handing out flyers, you are having real conversations with people who rarely get asked what they need. Your neighbors are already out here doing it. There is room for you. ### What you'll do Walk a short, mapped route with a partner and knock 30 to 40 doors. We train you before you step off, pair you with an experienced volunteer, and hand you the route, the script, and the literature. Shifts are short and timed around the weather: weekday and weekend mornings, before the heat climbs. Pick the slot that fits your week below. Bring comfortable shoes, water, and a charged phone.
