SEPC Food Rescue

Join us Friday September 11th and 12th from 6:00PM - 8:30PM at the South-East Produce Council (SEPC) Tradeshow! Every other year the SEPC Tradeshow takes place in Nashville, and we have the opportunity to rescue the beautiful produce on display. On average, each year we are able to rescue up to 20,000+ Pounds of produce from this event, and its because of volunteers like YOU that we are able to distribute it. The general outline for the event is as follows: - Arrive at 6 PM for a brief group "training" - Pack produce into boxes and load boxes onto trucks from 6:30-8:00PM - Wrap up around 8:30 PM While this event does require some lifting, there will be tasks available for those who are unable to lift.
