About this event
The cure for worry and hopelessness is action! If you've been waiting for the right time to do something, this is the right time. Join Woodburn Hubbard Aurora Indivisible and trade feelings of fear and anxiety for a sense of accomplishment and a few rays of hope when you see concrete results from taking effective, targeted action. Join our little, dedicated family of Woodburn and North Marion County neighbors determined to help our communities cope with the damage caused by ICE, and take steps to prevent more kidnappings, raids and assaults. We also address the problems that may happen out of public view, and take coordinated action to address those issues-- issues like the use of supposedly de-activated Flock cameras to lead ICE to find and disappear our neighbors. We also are working to keep a watchful eye on our schools and communities, and are ready to do our best to prevent and manage raids and other incidents. If you're worried about risk, we have actions you can take sitting on your couch. Don't have much time? We have impactful actions that will take a minimum of your time but yield powerful results. Not a joiner? Neither are we but we just couldn't sit back and do nothing while the world around us crumbles. Join us anyway. We welcome newcomers and are totally open to new and creative ideas. We are a new chapter that really needs all hands on deck. We are a warm, friendly group with a tight focus on problem-solving. Email WoodburnIndivisible@Yahoo.com with any questions. A friendly human named Ruth, our chapter co-chair, will patiently answer your questions and tell you our meeting times and locations. Join us!
