Sign up to knock doors in the Central Valley! You’ll be helping to build the grassroots power Democrats need to win in 2026 and to defend democracy long term. Help Flip the House in 2026. Our Santa Clara County Democratic Party (SCCDP) team in partnership with Bay Area Coalition(BAC) will be heading to Fresno to Canvass for the Democrat candidate (post primary) to help them win the House Seat for CD-22. Why CD-22? This district is in the top 7 nationwide seats that are flippable. We will likely not win the House without winning in CD-22. You can help make this happen! This canvass can be a one day canvas, departing the Bay Area early in the morning, canvass for the day and return in the evening, or volunteers can also register for both Friday and Saturday canvassing and stay over night on Friday night. Canvassers living in the local area are welcome to join for one or both days as well. In the week before the canvass, you will receive an email and a phone call from the SCCDP/BAC volunteer canvass team with all the details about your canvass, including location specifics. Once you've signed up, a Bay Area Coalition volunteer will contact you and help with carpools. They will also give you details about the meeting location and names of people running the event. If you've never canvassed before or just need a refresher, join the Bay Area Coalition canvassing workshop every Tuesday, 7 pm - https://www.mobilize.us/cadems/event/596490/ If you are not able to knock doors, you can still support volunteer canvassers in the Central Valley - donate here https://secure.actblue.com/donate/centralvalleycanvassing
