Freedom Vigil: Chantilly ICE Processing Center

Join community members, faith leaders, and advocates for a peaceful Freedom Vigil outside the ICE Washington Field Office. Together we will gather in solidarity with immigrants and families impacted by detention, honoring the dignity and humanity of those held inside and calling for transparency, accountability, and freedom. Through prayer, reflection, and community presence, the vigil will bear witness to the experiences of people detained at the facility and affirm our shared commitment to justice, compassion, and immigrant rights. All are welcome to stand in solidarity and lift up a message that every person deserves safety, due process, and respect. *A core principle behind all Freedom Vigils is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
