Civic Watch: Volunteer to Attend Spartanburg School District 7 Meetings

Decisions that impact our community get made in public meetings, often with little public input in the room. The Spartanburg County Democratic Party is building a **“Civic Watch”** team to attend key local meetings, take notes for the party and the public, and sign up to speak during public comment when timely issues come up. The **Spartanburg School District Seven (D7) Board of Trustees** makes decisions that affect students, educators, families, and taxpayers across our community. Board actions shape **school budgets**, **academic priorities**, **student support services**, **facility planning**, **safety policies**, and the overall direction of public education in our area. By attending these meetings as a volunteer observer, you’ll help ensure our community stays informed about what’s happening in our schools.
