Stand Up Against ICE at White Cap Business Park, Williston

Join Champlain Valley Indivisible as we stand up against ICE on Wednesday afternoons at White Cap Business Park in Williston. The ICE contractors at this location review social media posts of "persons of interest" and also spy on their friends, family, neighbors and co-workers. Help us inform passers-by that ICE operates in our neighborhood, and voice your opposition to ICE’s brutal tactics, lack of identification or body cams, and their total disregard for due process. We stand in the public right-of-way along Industrial Ave where our right to peaceful assembly is protected by the First Amendment. Caution: there is no sidewalk or curb. Please register so we know to expect you and can reach you with any last-minute changes. Bring an American flag and/or signs that refer specifically to ICE. Please park on Avenue C across from the main entrance to White Cap, or at Rossignol Park just north on Industrial Ave, but DO NOT park in the White Cap lot. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
