Banner for Democracy on the Patchen Rd Overpass, South Burlington

Join friends and neighbors on the Patchen Road overpass in South Burlington. We'll hang our two large banners so they are visible to the drivers in the vehicles passing below us on Interstate 89. (Typically 3,000 cars per hour or more). There is parking at the South Burlington Public Works department on Landfill Drive, as well as along the road. --if you plan to come, please register. We will cancel if wind speeds will be 15 mph, and will inform everyone by email. For everyone's safety: --Please follow the guidance of marshals in orange or yellow safety vests. --do not engage with drivers or pedestrians who disagree with our values. --do not drape a sign or banner on the overpass railing, even if secured with rope or zip ties.
