States Win SF (formerly Sister District Project): 2026 Monthly Citywide Zooms

Join our States Win monthly Zooms to connect virtually as volunteers and neighbors, get the latest candidate/campaign news, hear about upcoming volunteer actions, and learn about the strategic importance of state legislatures as firewalls to Tr*mp's fascism, as we work to flip states from #redtoblue! Each month, we will share updates, important good news and be joined by a special guest speaker and/or highlight a special education topic key to our work. Past Speaker Series guests have included: CA Attorney General Rob Bonta, Former U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer, Former U.S. Attorney General Janet Napolitano, Former Ohio Democratic Chair David Pepper, and VA State Senator Danica Roem. We host virtual events on **Zoom the first Tuesday** of each month; in-person **Happy Hours on the last Tuesday** of each month; and in-person **Postcard events** on alternating third Sunday afternoons and Monday evenings each month; plus marches, parties, auctions and more! Since 2016, we've been building enduring progressive power in the states to improve people's lives by supporting over 185 state legislative candidates and community-based organizations led by people of color on the ground, like [Carolina Federation Fund, We are Down Home, Tennessee Immigrant & Refugee Rights Coalition (TIRRC) and The Equity Alliance](https://secure.actblue.com/donate/sd016-nc-tn-sf?refcode=mobilize), who do critical grassroots work year round. Last year, we won all 32 of our races—not only turning Virginia into a Democratic trifecta, but also flipping critical seats in Iowa and Mississippi to break GOP supermajorities. In Minnesota, we preserved Democratic control in a pivotal special election. In 2024, we flipped critical seats in the North Carolina House and the Wisconsin Senate, breaking GOP supermajorities.
