Postcard Writing with Swing Left Marin at Book Passage

Join us at the Book Passage to celebrate all of the postcards we’ve to Get Out the Vote for the mid-terms (70,000!!) Together we’ve written postcards with Field Team 6, Activate America, and Progressive Turnout Project Postcards to Swing States to boost turnout among Democrats and progressive Independents. These handwritten postcards have been proven to boost voter turnout by up to 1.3%. Postcards (in packs of 25) are $2 (suggested donation) and stamps are .65 c postcard packs, free to students or those on fixed incomes which includesstamps so spread the word to all of the young folks in your life. Over the past 9 years together we’ve written over 850k postcards! We’ll take a moment to celebrate our work and talk about when we’ll start up writing again in January to boost accurate information to low information voters. If you haven’t heard of it, Swing Left is a national network that helps people find high impact ways to support Democratic candidates. We focus on the most flippable races as an important step towards ensuring the progressive change needed to create a more inclusive and equitable government and society.
