After that shameless plug for civic engagement, here are the details for our November meeting: we are reading "Is a River Alive" by Rob McFarlane and published in 2025. It is widely available. I checked mine out through our local library system. It is described as gorgeous prose and deep environmental philosophy, investigating the idea that rivers are living entities and entitled to legal protection. It also read like an adventure book to me! Hope to see you at our virtual meeting at 7:00 pm on November 18. Link to follow separately.
