### Join Us! Please join the Tigard and King City communities rain or shine for a weekly honk and wave event! This is a non-violent, peaceful, and friendly street protest to stand up for democracy. This event is organized by We the People Tigard Area, a local Indivisible group. ### When: Every Saturday from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM ### Where: At the corners of Highway 99W and Durham Road Parking is available near the Grocery Outlet or on the other side of 99 near Trader Joes. When the weather is warm, the Trader Joes side of 99 has nice shade available. ### New - Sign Library: - We now have a sign library! - You're welcome to borrow a sign for the hour and return it at the end of the event. - Choose from a variety of messages (the signs are 2-sided). - The sign library is courtesy of Signs of Democracy: https://signsofdemocracy.online/. Their website includes information about ordering your own sign if desired. ### What to Bring: - Your family, friends, and neighbors - Your signs and flags - Your umbrella - Wear a costume - A chair if you’d prefer to sit ### Stand up for: Democracy, Due Process, Immigrants, Human Rights, Science, Healthcare, Education, Freedom, Peace, Hope…and more ### Sign Ideas: - Protect Our Communities! - Thank You Immigrants...Friends.
