Write Postcards to Voters with Swing Left Chicago in Wrigleyville (In-Person, select Wednesdays)

THIS IS AN IN-PERSON EVENT IN CHICAGO - PLEASE BRING A BOOK OF STAMPS OR $12 TO COVER POSTCARD STAMPS. Since 2019, Swing Left Chicago volunteers have written tens of thousands of letters to voters - and we’re not stopping now. The key to defeating the GOP is voter turnout, and postcard writing is one of the most effective ways to boost turnout among likely Democratic voters. Join us to get a head start on postcards for the 2026 election! We’ll write the motivating messages now, and next year we’ll add voter addresses to send them out - giving us plenty of time to make a big impact in key Senate races. When: either 2nd or 3rd Wednesdays of the month at 7 PM for the summer (avoiding Cubs home games!) Where: Pilot Project Brewing, Wrigleyville (3473 N Clark St) What to bring: Yourself (and friends!), plus a book of postcard stamps (20) or $12 (cash, Venmo, or Zelle) to help cover postage. No experience? No problem! We’ll show you everything you need to know. We provide the postcards and pens and the blurbs are provided. While donations aren’t required to participate, bringing stamps or contributing to postage costs helps us send more postcards - and reach more voters. Stamps can be purchased at post offices, many drugstores and grocery stores, or online at USPS.com.
