A block long event. Join us, WE HAVE THE SIGNS. Please come, WEAR BLACK or dark colors, bring a friend and HOLD a sign! Wear sun protection. BRING WATER. The lead sign says Signs of Fascism followed by 18 signs including Denying Due Process - This is Fascism, Using Military on Citizens - This is Fascism, Threatening Opponents - This is Fascism, Rewriting History - This is Fascism … and then ending with Relatives Fought Fascism, WILL YOU? *BRING WATER. IT IS HOT!* RAIN CANCELS THE EVENT* GOALS: *Encourage viewers of all persuasions to think about the concerning actions of the regime. *See that it is OK TO SPEAK UP. *Think about how they can take action and add their voices against rising fascism. We were inspired last year by posts of other Signs of Fascism protests and wanted to bring it to Sacramento. So we made the signs. We continue to be excited to present this protest on a repeated basis here in Sacramento.
