Ground Truth Daily Canvass Training

### Ready to talk with voters and help Democrats win critical elections right in your own community? Ground Truth makes it easy to knock doors and make a difference, whether that’s canvassing independently or with a group. This canvass training will prepare you to canvass either way. After the hour-long session you’ll be ready to go out and Anytime Canvass in your community or prepared to join your Volunteer-Led canvass. If you are attending a Group-Led canvass event, you can skip the instructions below and just sign up for the training of your choice. If you are looking to canvass solo or with a few friends using our Anytime Canvass program, please continue reading to understand the program and your next steps to solo canvassing! Anytime Canvassing is a response to a need we’ve heard again and again. Volunteers want to canvass, but many aren’t able to drive to a specific location, or commit to 2-3 hour time blocks at a given time. We want to get you canvassing, whenever you can, wherever you can, as often as you can, and now we have the tech to do it. The steps are simple: sign up for a virtual training, receive a ready-to-use list of targeted voters near you, and knock doors on a schedule that works for you. We’ll provide the training, voter list, conversation guide, technology, materials, safety guidance, and ongoing support you need to get started - you’ll do the rest! ## How it works ### 1. Confirm you are located near one of Ground Truth’s targets. Ground Truth canvassing is currently available in select communities connected to Swing Left’s priority House and Senate races. Before signing up for this training, check you are able to canvass in a targeted location [here](https://d1h4zokikhjm0v.cloudfront.net/content/swingleft_targets_1pager_2026.pdf) ### 2. Tell us where you’d like to canvass. Complete the three short questions regarding when and where you’ll be canvassing as you sign up so we ensure Ground Truth canvassing assignments are available near you. ##
